Recorded in the Guiness Book of World Records for The Most Expensive Hot Dog in the World at Serendipity 3 in New York City, priced at $69. At 12 inches long, this pure beef "Haute Dog" is grilled in white truffle oil, placed in a pretzel bun toasted with white truffle butter. For toppings, this dog comes with duck foie gras with black truffles. Side condiments include: black truffle Dijon mustard, carmelized Vidalia onions, and heirloom tomato Ketchup. Sounds rich, doesn't it?! (Read more HERE.)
(Speaking of truffles... I had Truffle French Fries at The Capital Grille for my birthday... fantastico!)
Bon appetit!!
