Chinese artist Yang Du is not one the most famous of designers, but that does not mean she is any less imaginative or interesting. She has caught the attention of both John Galliano and Vivienne Westwood (she has been both their assistants). You can put her in the same fashion "genre" as Zhandra Rhodes and Jean Charles de Castelbajac except her collections are much funnier and furrier.Whether or not you would actually wear her collection, they are still super amusing to look at. Awkwardly large sweaters, hippo dresses and furry robes are the name of the game and it's all fun boys and girls!
