The ill-studio is a French group of collaborators devoted to fine arts. Their goal is to bring ten individuals together, working in various artistic areas such as graphic design, photography, typography, illustration, video, motion design, etc. The studio provides an environment wherein its member’s complementary influences meet, and contribute to the stimulation and development of the whole, whether the works produced are created collectively, or individually. The ill-studio is Léonard Vernhet, Thomas Subreville, Nicolas Malinowsky, Thierry Audurand, Sébastien Michelini, Pierre Dixsaut, Harold Urcun, Artus de Lavilléon, David Luraschi and Fred Mortagne.

Gabby Nathan | postdesigner

Postdesigner is Gabby Nathan, born in Bulgaria, lived in Angola as a child and landed in Israel in 1990. She lives and works in Tel Aviv. Her biggest passion is character design and illustration in general. She had a short flirt with street art but her new "thing" is toy design. She quit her day job a year and a half ago in order to spend more time on her painting and personal projects. Now she is freelancing and working on her first solo exhibition as an artist.

LucyandBart

'LucyandBart is a collaboration between Lucy McRae and Bart Hess described as an instinctual stalking of fashion, architecture, performance and the body. They share a fascination with genetic manipulation and beauty expression. Unconsciously their work touches upon these themes, however it is not their intention to communicate this. They work in a primitive and limitless way creating future human shapes, blindly discovering low – tech prosthetic ways for human enhancement.'

FLOWmarket

FLOWmarket was initiated in 2004 and is the working label of danish designer Mads Hagstroem. FLOWmarket works within the field of sustainability, design and commercialism. FLOWmarket has due to it´s simple and universal form been able to successfully cross cultural boundaries between Europe, US and Asia where it has received numerous recognitions.

FLOWmarket is a shop designed to inspire consumers to think, live and consume more holistic. The core of FLOWmarket is the scarcity goods collection where present imbalances from the 3 FLOW dimensions (individual, collective and environmental flow) have been addressed and transformed into physical products. Scarcity goods products in the shape of aesthetically designed (empty) packings with humorous and thought awakening prints that consumers can buy in the venue shops or via the online shop. Further on FLOWmarket collaborate with designers and artists around the globe that fits with our mindset, humor and aesthetics.

About her work, Conny Kuilboer says: "With my work I’m searching for connections. I find them in simple objects and images I see and use daily but also in more complex subjects like religion and media. Nowadays, individualism is the standard. I want to ask questions about this. questions that summon to reflect about how people relate to each another. I research the resemblance that connect all of us. But without the intention to communicate this in an unambiguous manner. I translate this research in objects and (temporal) installations in which the application of the chosen material plays an significant role. The material I use most are blankets. It is a intriguing and polyvalent material with contradictionary qualities. blankets protect and give warmth. they suggest comfort but are really oppressive, irritating and often a fire hazard. I try to use all these medium specific qualities. But there are more reasons for me to work with blankets. they seem to absorb, have a special texture and the colours are fantastic. The application possibilities are endless. I use them in layers, with stencils etc.. Blankets have a rough texture which forces me to stylize my language of image. Therefore a continuous interaction arises within the searching and finding of the own form."
