I never knew
what love was until...
I was tested.
Until...
my eyes were no longer covered
with rose colored glasses.
Until...
you were no longer perfect,
you were human.
Until...
we both recognized our shortcomings
and accepted them.
Until...
I realized I'm still learning
and I will never quite have it figured out.
But
as long as we figure it out
patiently together.
